Most fear? Light not Darkness

There is very good quote. Actually I heard about it from the film Coach Carter. But I knew it was not the source Then I had the search here.

Here it is the link:
http://jmm.aaa.net.au/articles/4564.htm

another blog says it came from an author
http://www.ilchi-lee.org/it-is-our-light-not-our-darkness-that-is-most-frightening/
there a comment says it came from martin luthor king too.

So what is the origin?

Here is the quote from the film:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

That quote is from a book called "Return to Love" by Marianne Williamson

Thank you for info. In the same link it says that this quote was read in the movie without citing the source. It happened again in coach carter.

It is really sad when something good is said or done without mentioning the source.

The quote is truly from Marianne Williamson. It has been popularly used for a while...
